Front Post Treble Crochet – Yoh, take your hk front to back around the next st post inserting it to the right of the st post and back out to the left, pull up a loop and finish your tr in the usual way. This way you are making the FPtr stand out to the front of your work
Invisible Join – Pull through the yarn and thread onto a tapestry needle. Thread under the ‘v’ of the next but one st and pull through yarn. Thread the needle back into the bl and 3rd loop of the last st to form a ‘v’. Secure and FO. This method creates a ‘fake’ st after the last st of the round. It has a neater finish and doesn’t affect the final st count.
Puff Stitch – (Yoh, insert hk into st, pull up loop) 3 times (7 loops on hk), yoh, pull through all 7 loops on hook, ch1.
Spike treble crochet – As per a normal tr but pull up your loops to the same height as the previous st in the rnd / row.
