Chroma Crochet Technical Editing & Design

I started my crochet journey out of a love of textiles, colour and craft. Having worked in the fashion industry for nearly 20 years and with a Textile Design degree, I bring a wealth of experience in commerciality as well as an eye for detail in my crochet tech editing and design work

My Journey

My crochet journey began in 2018 as a simple hobby, but it soon blossomed into a full-blown passion. With a degree in Textile Design and nearly two decades of experience in the fashion industry, I brought a wealth of knowledge to my craft. In 2022, I took my skills to the next level by becoming a certified crochet technical editor, adding precision to my creativity.

Before stepping into the role of a crochet tech editor, I began writing my own patterns, focusing primarily on flowers and squares for blankets. This was before I even knew what a tech editor was!

Becoming a tech editor has taken my pattern writing to new heights. I started selling my crochet patterns on Ravelry and Etsy, and in 2023, I achieved one of the proudest moments of my crochet career by becoming a published designer in Simply Crochet magazine. Since then, I’ve also been featured in Crochet Now magazine.

But I truly love working with other crochet designers to help them create the best versions of their crochet patterns. There’s something incredibly rewarding about collaborating and refining designs to perfection; where my goal is to elevate every pattern to its highest potential.
