Invisible Join – Pull through the yarn and thread onto a tapestry needle. Thread under the ‘v’ of the next but one st and pull through yarn. Thread the needle back into the bl and 3rd loop of the last st to form a ‘v’. Secure and FO. This method creates a ‘fake’ st after the last st of the round. It has a neater finish and doesn’t affect the final st count.
Popcorn Stitch – Make 5tr in the same st, unhook the last st and insert the hk into the 1st tr from front to back, then pick up the last tr loop from back to front and pull this through the 1st loop on the hk so you have 1 loop left.
